We kicked things off with trading away 2022 first round picks Malaki Branham and Blake Wesley for Kelly Olynyk from the Wizards. Frontcourt depth + clearing up some of the roadblock at the guard position all at once.
The Spurs then re-signed Jordan McLaughlin to a one-year, $3M deal to secure our 3rd string PG. Details were released on Luke Kornet’s contract (Brian Wright masterclass once again).
And the Spurs played 3 summer league games in San Francisco! Carter Bryant, David Jones-Garcia and crew got plenty of run and we talked through the good & bad from the weekend in California.
