The Los Angeles Lakers have had the tradition of greatness. 17 championships, all time great players, and being the big brother of the Clippers for much of their tenure in Los Angeles.



However, the last 10 years, the Clippers have exercised their dominance over the last 10 seasons in head to head matchups with the Lakers 32-7. The Clippers have been looking like the dominant franchise.



Adding the richest owner in sports Steve Balmer, Laker genius and great Jerry West as a consultant, and the Clippers being title favorites with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George returning.



Winning a championship this year would erase all negativity surrounding this franchise and the city of Los Angeles would have a new sheriff in town. Are the Lakers management/fans secretly worried about that?
