Welcome to the 12th episode of 10 On The Clock.
In this episode, Tyrone discusses the disappointment of this year’s NBA All-Star game and suggests how to improve it. With just a few weeks left in the regular season, Tyrone gives the five storylines he’ll watch for the rest of the season.
The NBA has been a surprisingly aggressive game lately, with several different altercations. Tyrone explains why he loves this and suggests rule changes that must be made to make it even more aggressive. Tyrone also explains why he doesn’t like “the unwritten rule” of professional sports.
Jacque Vaughn was the latest coach to be fired from his position. Tyrone breaks the firing down and explains why he isn’t mad at what Vaughn was trying to do with his squad.
Boston has the best league record and looks unstoppable at times. Tyrone explains why this may be the beginning of something special for the Celtics.
The referees have been scrutinized this season, and we’ll leave it at that.
All of this plus “Locks Of The Week.”

[00:00:00] We're exclusive all the production and joy experience just got serious
[00:00:30] Yes, I don't even want to hear it right now man.
[00:00:37] I already know what y'all gonna say.
[00:00:41] I already know what y'all think right now.
[00:00:44] I ain't even got an excuse as to why this episode is so late coming out but it doesn't
[00:00:55] matter how long it took me to get to this point.
[00:00:59] The only thing that matters is I'm here now to bring y'all the heat.
[00:01:06] Welcome to episode number 12, 10 On The Clock.
[00:01:11] I am Tyrone Smith, aka Ron to a exclusive aka Mr. Hunsel Bandit aka Mr. Sneaker Bandit,
[00:01:20] Folk Point Island Lockham Up Wrong Daytona360 Back in the Building, Back in the Building.
[00:01:29] Hell yeah.
[00:01:30] So I've been missing out on the lot.
[00:01:32] Well I ain't missed out on the lot because I've still been keeping up with everything that's been going on.
[00:01:37] I just ain't been on the mic but now that I'm on the mic let's talk about some of the things
[00:01:43] that has been transparent up until this week.
[00:01:47] Hell yeah.
[00:01:48] I wanted to get my thoughts and opinions on the All Star game.
[00:01:51] I know it's been a couple of weeks past the event, whatever.
[00:01:56] I didn't get to talk about it so I'm here talking about it.
[00:02:00] If I had to give the All Star game, or All Star Weekend in general, or grade, I would give it a solid D.
[00:02:08] What?
[00:02:09] The All Star game was tough.
[00:02:11] And there's been a lot of talk about how you make the All Star game better.
[00:02:15] There's that third.
[00:02:17] I've been hearing different scenarios of people saying how they make it better, put more money involved and things along those lines.
[00:02:25] But in my last episode, I talked about how I think you can make the game more competitive.
[00:02:31] We give some honorable mention All Star teams in there.
[00:02:35] That each honorable mention and the West are honorable mention.
[00:02:39] But the Let them Play against each other, the winner.
[00:02:42] They go on the Sunday night to play in the big All Star game.
[00:02:46] The winner of that game, they get bragging rights to set it there are the best group of All Stars in the NBA.
[00:02:52] I don't know how much traction they have to get, probably little to none.
[00:02:57] But I think that'd be a good idea if you want to make it more competitive.
[00:03:02] Let's bring back the rookie sophomore game.
[00:03:05] Some things are fun initially, but what you do on so many different times, they get repetitive.
[00:03:14] I understand the format, but I think you just need to go back to a rookie sophomore format.
[00:03:20] Bring back the jerseys.
[00:03:22] No more custom jerseys. Let's see where their own jerseys are.
[00:03:27] I'm just not feeling All Star weekend.
[00:03:30] I'm not feeling the slam dunk contest.
[00:03:32] Shout out to Matt McClellan for winning the slam dunk title once again.
[00:03:37] That event is overrated now, it was the highlight of the weekend.
[00:03:41] But now I think you can argue that the three point contests is the best event out of all the events that you have in All Star weekend.
[00:03:51] Speaking up, the three point contest, shout out to Dane for winning the three point contest championship.
[00:03:58] And All Star Game MVP.
[00:04:01] Me, if the All Star Game MVP has any minions, anybody says nobody really plays defense.
[00:04:08] The step Sabrina three point contest was dope.
[00:04:12] Watch your Sabrina go out there, put up 26 points.
[00:04:15] The stuff really had to be on his egg game and he was hit 29, beat it 29, 26.
[00:04:21] That was exciting.
[00:04:23] I think that's what they do more collaborations with the WNBA in the future.
[00:04:28] I think that brings more people, I think that would peak more people's interest into taking out the WNBA product.
[00:04:35] Especially with Caitlin Clark, who is going to probably be the first overall pick in the WNBA draft.
[00:04:44] You need all of the attention as you possibly get as you bring in that newly coming class to the league.
[00:04:53] Another thing I wanted to talk about in particular, let's talk about Kenny that just smithed.
[00:04:59] Now, I like Kenny.
[00:05:01] I think out of everybody on the inside the NBA crew, he's the only one that I can really listen to without getting any.
[00:05:09] Charles, you know, he makes some good points from time to time but I don't like rependentness repeating yourself over and over again with the same thing.
[00:05:21] I just think some of his remarks, some of the stuff that he says, I think he just tries to say to get that moment.
[00:05:28] That's personally me.
[00:05:30] I think he just, you know, he says stuff just to kind of rob people up or get some type of attention but you know,
[00:05:36] you're not scared to say whatever you gonna say whatever it is.
[00:05:40] The consequences doesn't matter so neither here nor there is.
[00:05:45] I mean, I don't like the way they glazed Shack.
[00:05:48] You know, like, oh, he's the most dumb and then he's the best ever.
[00:05:52] Like, okay, like we understand that he was good but you know how to, like I feel like they overdo it sometimes.
[00:05:59] Like to boost the ego.
[00:06:01] Now, I know it's not a boost thing but that's what it looked like on TV.
[00:06:05] Like if he was just watching randomly and you hear all these people talking all these great things about him, there's that in the thumb.
[00:06:12] You would think that somebody just trying to boost his ego and trying to make him feel good about it so.
[00:06:16] But I like Shack, I like Shack.
[00:06:18] Anywho, a kitty has some very interesting comments during the Steph Sabrina 3.contest.
[00:06:27] Basically saying that she should have shot her three from the women's WMBA through point line to eliminate any potential disabilities that she may have.
[00:06:39] The comment, of course, got a lot of negative reviews. A lot of people saying that you know all these crazy things about Kenny the Jett.
[00:06:47] But I will say this, I kind of understand when he's coming from.
[00:06:51] Sometimes some things don't need to be said in certain situations.
[00:06:55] And I think there's one of them things that he just kind of kind of kept to himself.
[00:06:59] Give Sabrina credit for the amazing performance that she put on, the amazing representation of the WMBA and just leave it at that.
[00:07:09] If you felt that way, then you could have kept that to yourself.
[00:07:13] You could have expressed that with your friends or camera or whatever the catch may be.
[00:07:19] But you didn't have to take that moment to rain on that lady's parade at that particular time.
[00:07:29] At this point, I feel like he's holding on to his commentary of the Vince Carter 2000s land on competition.
[00:07:38] Every all-star game you always mention in Vince Carter's 2000s land on competition.
[00:07:44] Which yes, what's great?
[00:07:47] But you know, sometimes you just got to let stuff go.
[00:07:51] That was 24, almost 24 years ago.
[00:07:54] Next year it'll be 25 years.
[00:07:56] That's crazy because I remember that slam dunk contest vividly.
[00:08:01] So you just can't hold on to certain things sometimes.
[00:08:05] You gotta let it go.
[00:08:08] It's to the point now where people don't even want him commentating on all-star weekend because more often than that,
[00:08:14] you gotta hear something about Vince Carter.
[00:08:16] Oh, the crowd. The crowd isn't as electric like when Vince Carter was dunking or...
[00:08:22] Oh, his shoes weren't as great as Vince Carter's shoes was when he was in the slam dunk competition.
[00:08:30] All these notions of the slam dunk competition Vince Carter has.
[00:08:34] Like, how's the stuff?
[00:08:36] Talk about something else.
[00:08:38] You could talk about the Zach Levine airing going to slam dunk contest in Toronto.
[00:08:44] You could talk about the J. Ridge Desmond Mason dunk contest in Atlanta.
[00:08:49] Talk about the Dwight Howard Superman dunk.
[00:08:52] Like, these are all iconic moments in slam dunk history that got the crowd riled up.
[00:08:58] That got the crowd entertained and what it was that they were watching.
[00:09:03] You don't always have to bring up Vince Carter.
[00:09:07] But those were my thoughts on the opinions on the all-star weekend since I didn't get to talk about it so...
[00:09:12] Now that we are in March, we are literally weeks away from the end of the regular season.
[00:09:19] And with that being said, we gotta talk about some of these storylines that are intriguing to me as we come to the end of the season.
[00:09:32] First day as far as let's talk about the Clippers.
[00:09:35] You know, the Clippers they've been in the news a lot recently.
[00:09:40] Westbrook injured his surgery on his head.
[00:09:43] He's gonna be out for any significant period of time.
[00:09:45] On top of the fact that they are moving into their new arena this next season.
[00:09:51] And they rebranded new logo, new uniforms which I like.
[00:09:56] It's clean, sophisticated, it's not over the top.
[00:10:00] It's just what they need for a rebrand going into a brand new stadium.
[00:10:07] There is some interesting dialogue in the fact that the Clippers can be entering their brand new arena with a championship banner because they are one of the favorites to comp out of the Western Conference.
[00:10:22] As of late, they've been up and down with wins and losses.
[00:10:26] They've had some losses to some of the better teams like the Thunder, the Wolves, the Kings and the Lakers.
[00:10:32] They've just recently lost to the Bucks.
[00:10:35] They've been up and down.
[00:10:37] The James Harden trade has worked out just how many people expected it to work out.
[00:10:43] There's a lot of questions that I have with James Harden being in the phone with all of the guys who have to have the ball to be successful but...
[00:10:52] I think this box immediately tells you that James Harden is one of the most hoopers of all hoopers like he just wants to go and play basketball.
[00:11:02] Doesn't really care about the calculus, doesn't really care about the stats.
[00:11:06] He just wants to go out do whatever he can to help his team win and be successful at that.
[00:11:12] He is probably one of the better point guards in the NBA right now in terms of his playmaking ability, just his time, nor when he came.
[00:11:21] He's just having to be that facilitator to get Paul George for a while in the air buckets.
[00:11:26] Also, getting his own buckets and making sure that everybody else out there on the court with him eats his will.
[00:11:33] The fact that Kauai and Paul George have been able to stay healthy for the most part is a great thing for the Clippers to play off.
[00:11:41] It's going to be interesting to see how Westwood comes back from this injury.
[00:11:46] And Paul George and Kauai later can stay healthy. They can continue on that home tram.
[00:11:52] Then the Clippers have a favorable chance to win the championship.
[00:11:57] If they don't win it, that window is slowly being shut down because you have so many other teams in the Western Conference.
[00:12:09] That can take over and be the face of the West for many years to come.
[00:12:14] Like the Oklahoma City Thunder, one of the youngest teams in the NBA will be one of the best teams in the division.
[00:12:20] And this is with all of them not really hitting their prompt.
[00:12:24] So just imagine when all of those guys hit their prompt when the game slows down even more for all of the young players that they have on that team.
[00:12:33] This team is going to be dangerous.
[00:12:36] On top of the fact that they have so many draft picks that if they wanted to go out and trade for a start to help push for a title run in the upcoming seasons, they can do that.
[00:12:48] The different nuggies there are always going to be in the foes as long as Nicole Yoke is in Jamal Murray are out there on the court.
[00:12:55] Yoke makes so many other players that much better in Jamal Murray is probably one of the best clutch performers in the playoffs that you have.
[00:13:04] So Demro will always be in the foe.
[00:13:07] They've got teams like New Orleans, they've got a nice mix of veterans and young talent, Sion, looks like he's figuring it out.
[00:13:15] Brandon England was always a consistent bucket.
[00:13:18] CJ McCullum has exceeded all of my expectations with him and the foe in New Orleans.
[00:13:24] So New Orleans can definitely be a team that could ten for one of the league spots in the West of Conference going forward.
[00:13:34] And then you talk about Minnesota as long as you play defense, you're always going to have a chance.
[00:13:40] Anthony Edwards is taking that next step of being that superstar in the NBA.
[00:13:45] Crawl in the town is the perfect complimentary piece to what Anthony Edwards does, just as if Anthony Edwards would be the perfect complimentary piece to what Crawl in the town does.
[00:13:57] So when you look at that, you look at Rudy Goberin, looks like he's found his way after a rough last season, probably going to win defensive player of the year,
[00:14:06] which I'm not a big fan of, don't think he should be in the same conversation as Big Ben Wallace or Matambo.
[00:14:14] There's a lot of teams in the West in Conference that you got Dallas, you got the Lakers, you got teams like the Kings, you got up and coming teams like the Rockets.
[00:14:25] You know, when Miyama has proven his up to being great and San Antonio is going to put all the pieces possible around him to make him even greater, so San Antonio is going to be in the front.
[00:14:37] This may be the Clippers best chance right here right now because there's so many upcoming teams that are coming up that are going to make an interesting challenge for the Western Conference at least.
[00:14:53] Now let's talk about who's going to end up with the worst record in the NBA right now.
[00:14:59] The pistons and the Washington Wizards are theoretically tied with the same record, they're both 9 and 52.
[00:15:07] I would say this, if you had to ask me who is the better team right now, I would say the pistons are a better team right now.
[00:15:17] The pistons, they go out and they compete every single night. There's no question about them going out there and competing.
[00:15:25] The most recent game against Miami, they compete, they were down double digits but they came back and they made that game interesting.
[00:15:35] Washington on the other hand, I just don't know.
[00:15:38] You got George Boone coming up the bench now, you get all this money, you'll go stay here with all this money to be a possible replacement for you.
[00:15:47] The step forward play gets punched by Drake Maumry and it seems like after that incident he just lost all his confidence in his game.
[00:15:55] His game hasn't been the same and it has not translated to him being better.
[00:16:01] Now that he's left that situation, he seems like he's going to be worse.
[00:16:05] So the point now where he's going off of the bench, but Washington just seems like a train record right now.
[00:16:13] At least with Detroit, especially after the train deadline, it's a little more clarity in what it is that they're trying to do.
[00:16:21] Their front court is it overloaded anymore. They have nice balance of players.
[00:16:26] They have a nice balance, a young talent.
[00:16:30] I think I've seen where Troy Brown Jr., in every four year they have 11 and five years but everybody else has one to 30 years or something along those lines.
[00:16:42] So they have a nice young nucleus. They're going to have some money coming into the all season.
[00:16:49] But we're talking about right here right now.
[00:16:51] I think the pistons can strengthen along a nice little streak.
[00:16:56] I don't know if they were going to do that so they can secure a top pick to add to that young court.
[00:17:04] But the pistons look much better and I think if I had to pick one of them to be the worst team in the NBA going into the season, it would be the Wizards.
[00:17:16] And that's crazy to think when you think the pistons lost 28 straight games, they're still in a position not to be the worst team at basketball.
[00:17:26] But when you talk about the mess with the Wizards going on, you have to talk about the move.
[00:17:33] They were slated to move to Virginia but those plans have pretty much been shot in the arm and looks like they're not going to fall through.
[00:17:43] And the fact that they were trying to move the team just makes you wonder what effect that's going to have on attendance for Wizards and Washington Capitol's game since.
[00:17:55] So for those teams, play in the same arena.
[00:18:00] I just put out my recent article on Jayden Ivy over on the Peach Basket.
[00:18:05] So if you want to go ahead and check that out, we'll be more than welcome to check that out.
[00:18:10] Let's talk about the Lakers because the Lakers aren't treating it.
[00:18:14] And I don't really like talking about the Lakers because it seems like everybody talks about the Lakers but the Lakers have been playing some good ball that just recently beat Oklahoma City.
[00:18:23] Shout out to DeAngelo Russell for elevating his level of play.
[00:18:28] Everybody wanted to make him ought to be the scapegoat understandably so you got to blame somebody if his name isn't LeBron James or Ebene.
[00:18:36] Davis and DeAngelo Russell was the God to blame.
[00:18:40] I can't blame him no more because the man has been aggressive, he's been out there playing out of his mind.
[00:18:47] And the Lakers are a healthy team right now.
[00:18:50] You know, Vanderbilt is out, gave his fans in and they just got Cam Reddys back.
[00:18:55] When they get all of the pieces together, they are going to make it quite intriguing for all of those teams.
[00:19:02] Remember, this is the same team that started off rough.
[00:19:06] They got those players in there and they made it all way to the Western Conference finals.
[00:19:11] And with the MVP race and be all but out of contention due to his injury, I won't be, I don't think he'll be eligible to get the awards since he probably won't have 65 games.
[00:19:24] So I think the Cossissa's big right now is Jokic but show some love to Shay Gildges, Alice and everybody.
[00:19:31] The man is average about 31 points, fire rebounds, six assists, two stills, she's about 54% from the field, 38% from the three, 88% from the three dough line.
[00:19:43] He leads the league in point score, he's second in points per game and he leads the NBA in stills and stills per game.
[00:19:51] The Oklahoma City is the best team in the Western Conference right now.
[00:19:56] So I think when you look at those factors, I don't think a lot of people have Oklahoma City.
[00:20:01] Like they had them good but I think they had a number one in the conference good and I think Shay Gildges is a big part of that.
[00:20:10] Jokic don't overlook his numbers because the man's out there nearly putting up a triple double every night with about 25, 12 and 9.
[00:20:21] He shoots 58% from the field, 34% from the three, 82% from the line.
[00:20:26] We already know what Jokic was.
[00:20:30] We already knew what the Nuggets was, they were defending champions.
[00:20:34] But Shay Gildges is in the Oklahoma City Thunder.
[00:20:38] How many people expecting the Thunder to be one of the best teams in the Western Conference this year?
[00:20:45] I'm not talking about in five years down the line, talk about this year.
[00:20:50] Like I expect them to be good but I'm expecting the Nuggets to be number one seed good.
[00:20:56] Let's show some love to Shay Gildges.
[00:20:59] I think he deserves to win if he beat his team.
[00:21:02] And he should be a consideration for the defensive player here.
[00:21:06] I just probably do feel that way.
[00:21:08] But if you're not a Shay Gildges fan, you're tired of Yokeitch.
[00:21:12] Me, you could consider Jason Taylor, Luka, Jalen Brunson.
[00:21:17] He's been on the Terry, Kevin New Brans, he's been on the Terry.
[00:21:21] It's going to be interesting to see how this all plays out.
[00:21:24] Before these guys can stay healthy and too eligible for those games.
[00:21:28] To be in repeat and make all NBA teams.
[00:21:36] Now that we got all of that out of the way, let's go ahead and listen to those little locks of the week.
[00:21:43] Because I'm slightly on the high school.
[00:21:48] Let's do these locks of the week sponsored by Beth Stan.
[00:22:00] All right, locks of the week.
[00:22:03] All star week.
[00:22:05] All star, all star week.
[00:22:08] It was four games, four games, four NBA games on the schedule.
[00:22:12] I did five games overall.
[00:22:14] I went two and three in those predictions, including the East beat in the West in the all star game.
[00:22:23] That gave me a record of 53 and 41.
[00:22:26] So the week going into post all star break was four games on the schedule, of course.
[00:22:34] I went ahead and not did those games.
[00:22:37] I went one in three.
[00:22:39] I had the sons to defeat the Mavs, which it not didn't end up happening.
[00:22:45] Friday I had the wolves to defeat the bugs, which didn't happen.
[00:22:49] Saturday I had the Celtics over the Nicks, which happened.
[00:22:53] And then Sunday I had the Kings over...
[00:22:56] No, I had the Clippers over the Kings, and the Kings had to feed the Clippers.
[00:23:04] Going into that week, we were back on the seventh game schedule.
[00:23:11] And I went four and three.
[00:23:16] The one and three record gave me an overall record of 54 and 44.
[00:23:22] So when four and three this past week, which gave me a record of 58 and 47,
[00:23:30] the games that I did choose were the Kings to defeat the Heat, which didn't happen.
[00:23:37] The Pelicans defeated the Nicks.
[00:23:39] The Clippers had a double digit league going into the fourth quarter but lost to the Lakers.
[00:23:45] The sons defeated the Rockets.
[00:23:48] The Bulls defeated the Bucks.
[00:23:51] The Nets defeated the Hawks.
[00:23:53] And I had the Pacers over the Spurs, which didn't happen because San Antonio won the game.
[00:23:59] This week, so far I am one and one.
[00:24:04] Monday I had the Bucks to defeat the Clippers.
[00:24:08] And Tuesday I had the Nuggets over the Sons, but the Sons won the game in overtime.
[00:24:15] So tonight, which is Wednesday, I have the Jazz Over the Bulls.
[00:24:19] I have the Timberwolves over the Pacers.
[00:24:23] Friday I have the Magic Over the Nicks.
[00:24:27] Saturday I have the Raptors over the Blazers.
[00:24:30] And Sunday I have the Pelicans to defeat the Hawks.
[00:24:35] Those were my locks.
[00:24:38] Let's get into some stories for the week.
[00:24:48] Alright, so first things first, let's talk about this aggressive nature of basketball that we've had as a plate.
[00:24:55] So it all started on Valentine's Day when Isaiah Stewart and Drew U-Bangs got into an autotacation in which Isaiah Stewart wears on straight, detraight, black force energy.
[00:25:08] I guess they had some type of autotacation when the pistons played the sons back in Lil' C's arena.
[00:25:16] Isaiah Stewart obviously is not one to let things go.
[00:25:22] And he confronted U-Bangs and they went at it.
[00:25:27] Stoop punch dumb, bloody dumb, all that good stuff.
[00:25:31] I mean, it's not good at this. It's not a good look.
[00:25:34] I mean, the Traversive. That's all I can say.
[00:25:38] Then over the course after that, I mean, you had incidents with the heat in the Pelicans, the Timberwolves, and the nets.
[00:25:45] The Hornets and the Warriors.
[00:25:47] I like it. I love the aggressive nature of basketball right now.
[00:25:52] You can even throw Devon Booker and Cam Whitmore in there if you want to.
[00:25:56] I love the aggressive nature of basketball. I'm being so friendly.
[00:25:59] I understand y'all friends, and most of y'all play A-A together or y'all went to certain camps together.
[00:26:06] We all were younger or y'all are active of one.
[00:26:09] Jax Cam, he was younger and he's still in the league and we're playing against him now.
[00:26:14] Competitor basketball isn't about being friends.
[00:26:18] For 48 minutes, y'all are not friends.
[00:26:21] Like Westbrook said, his only friend when he's playing is Baldi.
[00:26:26] And that's how I should be. So I love this aggressive nature.
[00:26:30] One thing I don't like though is this unwritten rule of basketball where you shouldn't try to score
[00:26:35] if you're up by certain amount, you shouldn't try to score because the other team has basically given up.
[00:26:45] Look, at the clock, say it got all zeroes on them.
[00:26:50] Run the score up. Let that team know that you've got to come on better than what you did in that game.
[00:26:59] Who cares if they up 15 points?
[00:27:03] Run the score up. Put as many buckets on their head as they possibly can.
[00:27:09] Do not get mad at the other team because you can't stop them.
[00:27:13] That's why y'all down 15 to 20 points. So don't get mad because they're he-
[00:27:18] Shocking up shots and then making their shots.
[00:27:21] You do a better job playing defense. How about that?
[00:27:25] So for Dennis Roeder and Miles Bridges, they were still putting no shots.
[00:27:32] They got to hold the L for that.
[00:27:36] I like Miles Bridges, man. But they got to hold the L for that because the game made over until the triple zero was on the clock.
[00:27:45] You hear that one though?
[00:27:46] So as long as it's time still on the clock, I'm putting no shots.
[00:27:53] If you don't like it, stop. How about that?
[00:27:57] In Grand Williams, man, I gotta talk to you for a second, man.
[00:28:04] I understand what you're trying to do, but look, just hoop, man.
[00:28:09] Don't try to be that guy.
[00:28:11] I guess not cool being that guy. You don't have that enforcer mentality.
[00:28:18] Just be a hooper. It's nothing wrong with just going out there playing basketball.
[00:28:23] Now something happens to you. Yes, we have every right to defend yourself.
[00:28:28] But don't try to be with a dreamer or Isaiah Stewart or like a Jake Router or James Johnson.
[00:28:36] Don't try to be that guy.
[00:28:38] You win a jerk, cause you to be in the situation that you win now.
[00:28:44] Where you were playing for a playoff team and you got traded to the third worst team in the Eastern Conference in Charlotte.
[00:28:52] And I just put out a...
[00:28:54] I just finished my five part series on my all time Charlotte winning team.
[00:28:59] So I just did my center position so if y'all want to check that out, I'll leave the link in the description of this episode as well.
[00:29:07] Let's talk Pelic is a heat.
[00:29:11] Charlotte's a Najim Marshall. Y'all say what y'all want about Zion, flopping and all that other stuff and whatever, whatever.
[00:29:18] But shout out to Fithill for standing up for his team.
[00:29:23] Now here everybody going to talk about him choking Jimmy Butler and he was wrong because the third.
[00:29:31] Remember Jimmy Butler put his hands around his neck first and Washington just reciprocated the energy of the choke.
[00:29:41] Jose Alvarado and Thomas Bryant they got to a whole little day and Thomas Bryant throw it with you born man.
[00:29:48] They go somebody on all sides like you seven foot tall, say like six foot, you got like a whole foot over me.
[00:29:54] You try to throw hands with Jose.
[00:29:58] I had my notions about Jimmy Butler. I wasn't really a big fan of his but I am.
[00:30:04] He who? And then he gonna let you know that he killing me.
[00:30:09] I can rock with you like I like Jimmy I like watching him play but some of the commentators that people be doing about him.
[00:30:19] It's like a little broad thing it making not want to like him because it's just like Jimmy.
[00:30:26] It shouldn't have did that he's gonna he's gonna unlock there unlocking his inner like.
[00:30:33] Let that be bro like I really can't stand it but if this is what they needed to unlock him
[00:30:44] because Miami they had been kind of up and down to see if this is what they needed.
[00:30:49] Cool ups hopefully this helps them get where they need it to go.
[00:30:55] Bradley Bill J. Lee Green J. Lee Green look I look at J. Lee Green I don't really see a fighter.
[00:31:01] I don't see nobody I just I just see like a hoop or I don't want to see him when he get into the extra stuff but look he got must in the face by Bradley.
[00:31:11] The boy did not move which to me says that Bradley Bill is Matt Barnes and J. Lee Green was on straight focus on him.
[00:31:22] Which means that he was on that side of time he was married for whatever so but I like him.
[00:31:27] And they can't wear more devil booker like that booker gets into with everybody.
[00:31:32] He might be one of the most unlike players because he gets into with everybody.
[00:31:37] I guess it's that light skin.
[00:31:40] Light skins they some some light skins feel they could do whatever they want because they like skin the girls crave the light skin guys you know they got a problem with the dark skins.
[00:31:50] I don't know if that's the case the case so much today look back in right 05 06 07 look I have a problem because I was on light skin and all the girls are the light skin they just kind of the day.
[00:32:04] I don't think I could hear that's all it was what I want to talk about the best.
[00:32:11] But look shout out to the aggressive nature I love it I love it hopefully the NBA they get into some rule changes to make the league even more tougher.
[00:32:23] Ask them hand checking back you know make it favor for the defense all this offense going on let's get back to them 85 83 games.
[00:32:33] You know the 55 52 games at the start of the full court let's get back today.
[00:32:40] So as a steward I talked about him earlier he has he had his charges dropped from that incident where he went to court on the 22th of February he got his charges dropped so he gave for him.
[00:32:57] I just hope that's the boy everybody call him the medicine or the other stuff he's a good that the bad guy.
[00:33:06] I don't remember what shack much dog Greg Ostertag when Greg Ostertag was after the at the arena I don't remember people being so hell bit and I don't remember charges me impressed for shack.
[00:33:21] I said I actually wrote a piece on the bench basketball I should put that in the bench but you got to be more careful man.
[00:33:32] I love the fact that he's establishing himself as a person to be a championship team you mean an Isaiah student on your team.
[00:33:41] So the fact that the business having Isaiah student is a good look.
[00:33:48] Find that chemistry and that right or he pushes me already.
[00:33:53] Shock fire was recently fired for trying to make this in the focal point of the person next offensive attack.
[00:34:03] So a lot of people talking crazy about it but I commend this one trying to be creative trying to get the confidence back in men's cities by trying to make him look and make God or the God and kind of obsessed with offensive for things that the office kind of has to go through.
[00:34:21] I understand that but look this is true.
[00:34:25] You got McHale bridges give cam time in some more minutes like cam time is a bucket and have some more minutes.
[00:34:33] McHale is the perfect God to run your office to let him be that guy.
[00:34:39] Look I understand you gotta be creative like you can't just do what everybody expects for you to do because you know you will get you nowhere.
[00:34:50] Being inside that contract extension and every since that moment in the conference finals when he was with the sixers look his confidence has just been shocked.
[00:35:01] On top of the fact that he can never stay up.
[00:35:04] I mean like he's just basically like dream on with better playmaking abilities.
[00:35:10] Ability to get up and down the floor hand of the ball you know.
[00:35:15] You know he got above average defense and you know he still likes to shot.
[00:35:20] With Kevin Ali now stepping in as the interim head coach for the nets I hope that he showcases his ability to lead the men.
[00:35:30] So a play in spot because there's still a contention for a play in spot so if he can just do good enough to get the nets in the play and I think he'll be alright.
[00:35:41] I think he'll get a long time looking as the coach of the nets.
[00:35:46] But Boston, Boston put the smackdown on gold state and was putting a smackdown on the cast before they lost the game.
[00:35:55] They were up 20 something points in the fourth quarter last night and lost the game.
[00:36:01] Dean Wade turned into Duane Wade and had like 24th quarter points who was out there destroying the boys.
[00:36:09] I think he actually outscored the team by like three which is crazy to believe.
[00:36:14] But Sunday the Celtics put up 82 points on the Warriors in the first half and won the game 140 to 88.
[00:36:24] Which gave the Celtics their third 50 point victory of the season which was an NBA record.
[00:36:33] I have so many questions about this team man with you holiday.
[00:36:37] Was he past his prime? Christos Prasinkis when he was in the situation and when in situation he didn't really do as well as people expected for him to do.
[00:36:47] Dallas, Willuka, how was he going to respond being third maybe fourth option?
[00:36:57] Did the Celtics have enough coming up the bench outside of Al Hoerford to be able to contain?
[00:37:03] All of them questions had been asked. Drew Holiday is not past his prime.
[00:37:09] Christos Prasinkis has been very effective and they have gotten the most out of what they could from the guys coming off for the bench.
[00:37:18] Now games like this, games like the calves last night had been, I mean it happens.
[00:37:25] I don't think this tears me from thinking that Boston is still the best team in the East.
[00:37:30] You know the Bucks, they're down to the nice little winnestreeks since the All-Star break looks like they're freeing our with Doc Rivers so they're going to be right in the mix.
[00:37:38] But you got teams like Philadelphia, Joel and Bee he's going to be coming back Indiana scores with the best of them so you really got to be on your pees and cues defensively.
[00:37:49] So there are a lot of ways that you can look at this. I mean the nicks, they're going to get Bronson and Randall back and you know they still, they got back down to Virgin Alex Burst so they got a deep team OG, I don't know if he's going to be coming back.
[00:38:01] So there are some teams in the East, I don't think they're as good as the Celtics but they're going to make the Celtics work for that final appearance to represent the Easter conference.
[00:38:12] Last night was unfortunate but it happens in the NBA and I think they'll come back even greater and stronger now.
[00:38:24] And let's go ahead and finish up this episode we're going to talk about the referees because Saturday night will Saturday afternoon Tony Brothers gave the Johnson Murray probably one of the pettiest technical files ever when he tried to talk to him.
[00:38:39] And the Johnson Murray brushed them off and Brothers proceeded to give him a technical file.
[00:38:46] People on social media is just a while like they just accuse Tony Brothers of being sensitive and abuse his power as a referee things along that line.
[00:38:59] I like to try to be on the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to things like this so I'm going to be on Tony Brothers side in this situation.
[00:39:08] Basketball players have always talked about how referees don't talk to them and give them what they've done wrong.
[00:39:15] Why they made this move, why they called this traveling, this that in the third day, they don't know David and San Ed.
[00:39:23] Referees don't do that no more.
[00:39:25] So in this instance I seen Tony Brothers trying to explain to the Johnson Murray something that happened and he just wasn't trying to hear it.
[00:39:36] And when you have 30 years of experience and you're just kind of brushing them off like that, yeah I probably would call that too.
[00:39:47] And we don't even know what was said.
[00:39:50] There's no mics.
[00:39:52] That's one thing that I do miss about basketball like they used to have the rest of my club and you used to get here in the conversation that they had with the player so it wasn't that.
[00:40:01] So he could have said something and Tony Brothers as he was trying to talk to them and he could have had to eat them up.
[00:40:07] I mean we don't necessarily know.
[00:40:12] And let's not forget the pistons getting screwed out of that game.
[00:40:16] They were schooled, that's all I'm going to say about that.
[00:40:18] Number go ahead in the end episode right here.
[00:40:21] Shout out to LeBron James for being the only person in basketball history to score 40,000 points.
[00:40:27] Congratulations to you.
[00:40:29] I'm talking on Smith wrong to school so hustle band to see the bad at 4.9 lock them up wrong they told 360 signing out and I'll let y'all next week.
[00:40:40] I can't really believe I can't believe they screwed the pistons under that wind bro there.
[00:40:45] It was an eight wind team at that time, seven wind team.
[00:40:49] What was it eight?
[00:40:50] It was one of the what you got why you got to school the pistons for like.
[00:40:56] Peace
[00:41:20] Did you feel that that's your soul reentering your body take time to get yourself back together and tune in for a brand new episode soon.
[00:41:50] Thank you.
